Up until recently we had an underground oil tank. Because of some heating changes we planned to make to our home, we made the decision to have this tank removed. It was an angst-ridden decision. A lot of that angst was alleviated and bettered by our decision to work with A.L.L. Environmental. It started with my first dealing with Anna Triano, the office manager. She was able to answer all of my many questions in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. She handled the set-up of certificates and permits and made that process flow smoothly. She kept in touch on a weekly basis as we prepped for the removal. She dealt with my crazy panicked questions with a smile in her voice. The morning of the pull we met with team, they took care in prepping the site and Jameson kept the digging and interruption of our yard to an absolute minimum. He was precise and clean with all of his work. Unfortunately our tank was old and had several holes. The hole needed to be left open while awaiting remediation. The hole was safely and securely cordoned off to ensure no one on our property would fall or get hurt. The team led by Anna set up the next steps for the “big dig.” The big dig involved some 40 truckloads of dirt leaving our property. It was an ugly process. During the dig, the guys were neat as could be as well as personable, friendly and never minded our constant check ins to see if “they were almost done yet”, kept us informed and were very patient in answering our questions. The next steps involved testing of the soil, which again, A.L.L. Environmental handled. There was truly nothing for us to do. They coordinated with Pro-Guard our tank company as well as sent the appropriate paperwork to the State of NJ, keeping us copied on everything. We hated this process, it required the cutting down of a 80 foot pinetree. There was no way to save it….the guys attempted to be creative and scoped out different ways to pull the tank, but in the end told us that sadly the tree would have to go prior to the dig. While I say above we hated the process, it was sad and angst ridden, it would have been much, much worse if not for A.L.L Environmental. Their attention to detail, safety and compassion made this go very smoothly and easily. I would and have highly recommended them for anyone who needs an oil tank pulled. Today, I’m watching a neighbor have their tank pulled by another company. Their oil tank is in the front yard, the guys left for lunch. In that yard is a gaping hole, a wide open tank and no safety fence, no cones, nothing to ensure safety and security. Nowhere near the attention and care shown by Jamison, Larry and Kermit. Thanks for making a difficult process easy Anna and team! Michele Billec
